Who we are
Studio Gio is an independent design studio based in the United Kingdom and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@studiogio.co.uk.
Information we collect
When you contact us by email or through our enquiry form, we collect the information you provide. This may include your name, email address, business name, website, requested services, project description, budget, preferred timing, how you found us and any additional information you choose to share. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or unnecessary information about other people.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, discuss your requirements, prepare proposals and communicate about potential work. We do not use enquiry details for newsletters, promotional emails, advertising audiences or other marketing, and we do not sell your information.
Our lawful basis
Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, we process the necessary information on that basis. For other enquiries, including those made on behalf of a business, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to requests and managing potential client relationships. We may also retain information where needed to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Providing your details
Submitting an enquiry is voluntary. We need the required form fields to understand and respond to your request; without them the form cannot be submitted. You can also contact us by email.
Who receives your information
The website and enquiry form are provided through Framer. Form submissions are delivered to our email and processed by Framer and our email service provider as needed to deliver, store and manage your enquiry. We may disclose information where legally required. We do not share your enquiry details with third parties for their marketing.
International processing
Our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where a restricted international transfer takes place, applicable safeguards are required, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections. Framer describes its transfer arrangements in its Data Processing Addendum. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
How long we keep information
If an enquiry does not become a client project, we keep it for six months after our last contact, then delete it. Information needed for a client project is kept for as long as necessary to manage that work and meet applicable legal or record-keeping obligations. A specific legal requirement or dispute may require some information to be kept longer.
Cookies and website use
This site does not use optional cookies. Framer’s built-in website analytics, where used, are cookie-free. External websites linked from this site have their own privacy and cookie policies.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive a portable copy of information where that right applies. Contact hello@studiogio.co.uk to make a request. We do not use enquiry information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Complaints and updates
Please contact us if you have a concern about how we handle your information. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We may update this policy as our services or practices change; the date above shows the latest revision.
